So, we all know the classic joke going around the server that Gryffindors can’t close the commonroom door. But, we, the concerned other houses, thought pherhaps they don’t know how! I decided to make a guide to teach Gryffindors exactly how to close the door (or any other houses, for that matter)
Helpers, feel free to use this amazing guide.
TY to Ethan Lovegood for giving me inspiration to write this, and to Blizzard Guevremont for helping me get screenshots.
So, here are the steps to finally having a closed door!!
Locate the actual door you want to go and close. You can do this by typing /guidelist in the Entrance Hall, and then typing /guide wherever you wanna go For this example, we are going to go to the Gryffindor Commonroom!
Follow the handy dandy yellow brick road to your destination!
You will have finally arrived at your destination. But, what’s this? The door is open (of course.) Let’s fix that!!!
First, you have to know the password. If you don’t already know that, you can type /house (if it’s your commonroom) and get a handy dandy chart that shows the password, like the screenshot. (Password blurred out to protect agains intruders in the Gryffindor commonroom)
Now, you can type the password in! You need to right-click on the door, and you should get chat that says "This Wooden Door is locked. Type /cunlock to open. Since we know the password, due to /house , we can easily type it in!!
Finally, you can right-click the door again, and it will magically close or open at your will.
Please make sure you always shut the door behind you, or else you’ll get sneaky little Ravens, Huffles, or Sneks in your commons, like in the example below.

Have fun, now that you know all the secrets to life about closing doors.
Note: This post does not agree with house sneaking into other commonrooms.
Note2: This post in no one intends to upset triggered Gryffindors. We love y’all… even if you do have the worst house.
Note3: This post is meant as a joke, but actually kinda makes sense, and I hate that it is slightly serious. Enjoy
